1. Earthworks and Terracing
Level the slope to make two clear levels (upper and lower).
Flatten the lower walking area and make the upper level on the left stable.
2. Extending the Wooden Edge (Lower Level)
The lower level already has a wooden edge at the bottom.
Continue this wooden edge to the end of the garden (about 4 meters more) to stop the soil from sliding.
3. Stone Wall Between the Levels
Dig a small trench between the top and bottom levels for a base.
Put in a line of natural stone blocks to hold the soil of the upper level and separate the two zones.
4. Preparing the Ground for Paving and Grass
Dig out and level the spot on the lower level for the BBQ tiles.
Smooth and rake the soil on both levels so it is ready for the roll-out grass.
